what will no doubt be a talked about moment even though the daytime Emmy's are the step child of award shows .the Ladies of the View finaly ended their streak of not taking  home an Emmy by finaly winning one and also ending Ellen Gegeneres streak of favorite talk show host.  and what will sure to be talked about and a little ironic none of the Ladies were there in person to collect yes. the View finaly gets and Emmy and none of the Ladies were there to pick up the thing.  and also what is a little ironic and bittersweet guiding light wins an emmy also for best actor in a tie yes this as its starts its final  month on televesion since the soap got canceled by CBS. and it is going away and wins an emmy talk about a little irony of the daytime awards. the View finaly wins one and no one is there and which is sure to have Joy remind Barbera about her crack of hiring Whoppie to try and snag the thing. and also what is bitter sweet and a little slap in the face to fans of guiding light the show wins an emmy even as it starts its push to its very last episode and an end of  memories for long time fans. of the thing. and two months and the answeres of what is the real plan for the cult classic trick or treat will be answered will fans of it on oct 6 be walking out of stores with it or is all the publicity including a contest invovling it jsut an eleborate halloween trick by Warner Brothers over it. to make fans contiue to desire the film and never releasing it.

proving that old franchiese that were finaly thought dead will never be left alone and that holly wood is finaly treaching the threshhold of all the creativity dried up. now. hinting after he did rocky balboe that he has an idea to bring rambo out of retirement the orginal plan being he goes after al quida.  even though rocky balboe did not do real box office big numbers. still looked good enough for the greenlight to happen for rambo five yes. sylvester statallone will once again be doning the banndana and no doubt be packing heat that would make a small army happy. for rambo five the plot being rambo has to rescue a girl who has been kidnapped by drug smugglers. rambo takes on drug barons. guess the thought of rambo kicking al quida butt was too intense for holly wood so proving even franchises that should be resting in peace since like rambo will never die. rambo five is a go.

promoting his latest film project produer Joel silver made it known that one project he is looking at is doing the new film version  of swamp thing which has been talked about for a while now . and joe wants to do it in 3d yes dcs resident plant elemenatl who thought he is scientist alex holan turned into a swamp creature due to a fire . based on the dc comic book and also had a film franchise and tv series. is now being looked at making ihis comeback to the big screen but in three d. the latest movie flavor of the month though joe said he would only do it when most theatres are able to support 3 d so its not happending for a long time. yet. and no word on if orginal swamp thing potrayer dick durock will be doning the swamp thing get up again. plus joe also said that his plans for the long in development movie versions of wonder woman and logans run have not had any change in status for he does not know if or when they will get out of the hell they are in and finaly be  on the big screen. considering wonder woman is one dc film fans really want to see. and even had joss weadon try and give up. sooner or later joe will figure a way to make wonder woman happen for if watchman can take twenty years any film can happen now . as for logans run given bryan singer gave up finaly trying to do it joe should just consider that property cursed and drop the whole thing.

with all the fighting going on  on how to finaly give the health care ssystem the over due repair and the issue becoming a hot button due to all the emotional and aruguing at town hall meetings not to mention the scare tactics to try and stop the thing . one thing that is being put in the spotlight over health care is canada  health care system whcih is universal converage is being looked at as a potential example of how to make the health care system of the u.s that as the final gaol of health care reform mostly how does canada operate with a health care system that covers everyone including the cost to run it.  as congress gets back to work on the big priority trying to finaly fix the u.s health care system with canada being looked at as an example of an end result of a changed health care system.

what really should prove congress is too afraid to finaly buckle up and work to get health care reform done turns out congress has a plan to pass certain key parts of the health care reform like the either public or private plan making sure the insurance companies do not deny covering some one over a pre existing condition . and other key parts the president has been after to fix health care. the plan would pass the things now in parts piece by piece but turns out congress would only pass the plan if health care goes down in flames and given that the republicans are doing what they can to hurt health care and help the insurance companies make sure the reform is weak . the  back up plan may wind up in the end going into effect after all though congress could have just made things easier and just done the thing that way from the start.

deciding they can save some bucks instead of doing another film of the same old creature go nuts. scy fy teamed up their evil  octopus with their prehistoric shark from megolodon  as two teams of scientis spend most of th eime going after both the squid and the shark on subs with one being controled by a military nut case who after the shark and squid both do some major damage and some lives. wants to nuke the two even though it would turn the ocean into a  waste zone. finaly after the shark has done more dammage and the weapons miss the thing the scientists get the idea to have the shark and the octopus meet and get smart enough to run like hell as once the shark and the octopus cross each other its clash of the beasts. with the octopus winning then to be put out of its misery also. as looks like a new trend for scy fiy . team up of their evil animals gone wrong.

as much as one would think congress would honor kennedy by winding up passing in the end a bipartisian health care plan as congress contiues to work on trying to get a bill ready for a vote in sept. odds are not good of it happending as one republican senator has now made it clear chances of bipartisian ship is now close to dead as the republicans working in the committe to get a bill worked up to send to the house floor for a vote are now saying the dems plans are bad and go against what they want for one health care plan being talked about would cut medicare to use the savings to help  pay for the overhaul plus the republicans what the bill to include some better competion for the insurance companies yes a republicans wants the health insurance companies to have some compettion . and also wants small busniess to be able to team up and pay for insurance and reduction in malpractice suits and also tax breaks to help some pay for insurance tax breaks are something that should be part of any final health care bill. but the chances of bipartisian ship something kennedy  would have fought for if he had lived. the chance of that happending by congress now are on life support about to have the plug pulled. and two months and fans will be int he dvd sections of stores either walking out with a recepts saying  trick or treat dvd or be leaving with something else as it could turn out to be just another trick of warner brothers. as oct 6 will reveal the next chapter in the saga of fans finaly seeing the cult classic trick or treat will they have it on dvd after all.

caping off the day of mourning as hundred s pay their final respects to sen Kennedy. the president capped off  his memorial service by saying Kennedy was one of the greatest senators and also that he was one who was willing to compromise with the other side. even bringing up how Kennedy gave obama their dog and also telling how when Obama became a senator and had a visit in Kennedys office Kennedy gave him  a painting he was admiring that Kennedy had on his wall  but moslty the president talked giving a eulogy of how Kennedy fought for what he believed in from civil rights to trying to get health care fixed and also mention how even when tragedy hit Kennedy kept on fighting. as the nation laid to rest one of in the words of the president greatest  senators . caping off a day of mourning. for a fallen larger then life figure . not to mention when bush and carter and former president clinton were all int he same room mourning not to mention mcain with the president says something of what a man Kennedy was if he could have both republicans and dems at his funneral paying respects.

adding new meaning to the in laws of hell. and also proving some have no sense of humor when it comes to having a comedian in the family as a comedian named sund croonquist  is being sued by her in laws on the grounds of some of  her jokes they find racist and offenseive and are suing for defamation. snd who is half african american and hispanic is couther siuing he rin lwas saying they say the same things about her plus to really add to the family war sues husbands law firm is representing her in the lawsuit. which ought to make family get together interesting. sund claim is that her mother in law does not like haivng a jewish daughter in her house. and they knew about her jokes and said nothing. guess they got tired of being part of the act. as for the lawsuit part of it may be found that sued act is actully falls under her right to free speech and parody could be thrown out on those grounds as for defamation. ruth the mother in law of the case should realise that comedians tell jokes and some of them do use their famlies and parents as material for its comedy . not to mention what ever the outcome ruth could wind up losing her son after wards and any grand kids love for doing this but just shows that one must be carefull what they say to the in laws for they could get some up set and bring in a  Lawer now a days.hope suded and the in laws work something out for family happiness.

even as things look like he will not be doing any more remakes of haloween since his number two has critics and the box office not worthy of saying any more with Michel Myersand as always the case rob zombie has made it known he next project will be the remake of the blob. which actully is one of the few films that need to be remade due to the special effects tecnology finaly being where a film version could make the blob really be the scary monster it was always ment to be but special effects were not up to stuff back in the fifties. from the orginal and then the first remake in the eighties had the blob be nothing but a ticked off pile of jello. but rob is saying he has a plan to make the blob not be that.. and given how he gave new life to Michel Myers should be interesting to see how he pulls off the blob. wonder how long before a remake of puppet master happends. or phantasm.

as congress heads back to work in a few weeks. to begin anew working on health care reform with the dems wanting to pass it now to honor ted kennedys legacy. and the republicans wanting to make sure it does not pass . one thing the gop should really be happy about is their little scare tactic of health care passing will give the government the okay to kill granny and form death squads to do so. has acutlly had the desired result as seniors are now becoming opposed to health care reform mostly due to the kill granny bit and also now afraid their medicare would be taken or cut to pay for health care. but mostly the kill granny which came from a now remove part of the bill that would pay doctors to help patients let their end of life wishes known while they still have their compenacy to their loved ones and also help them make living wills. which the republicans turned into kill granny and looks like their scare tactic is working as seniors  are now opposing health care finaly getting the fix that is long over due

surprising ly peta was no where around as Mike is now on a high as Eagles fans actully gave him a warm and accepting welcome in his first game even though it was preseason his first game as an Eagle. a warm reception and that should be a sign that when Vick officialy  is able to play in the season that fans are willing to like the eagles did give Vick a chance and let him do what he was doing before his infamy and suprisingly peta was not around protesting vicks debute though that proably means when Vick officialy plays they will show up then. and two months and horror fans will find out if Warner brothers  is keeping their word and trick and treat is going to be in their dvd librariers come oct 6 or if it was just a trick of theirs and trick or treat will never see the light of day after all. oct 6 the answeres will be revealed.

given how popular facebook and sites like my space have become  . one should have to wonder given the things allow people to interact with each other and share stuff including personal info. one has to wonder given how long sites like facebook has been i use . one would have to think the aclu would be concerned over how it handles its users priviate material and looks like it has finaly happen as the aclu  in california has filed a suit saying when face book uses quizes like what character are you they are winding up with too much personal data not just about the takers of the quizes but their friends and  families personal information also so under priviacy concerns the Aclu has filed suit against Face book which one should not be suprised given the aclu stance on priviacy and how even though face book and other sites do what they can to protect a users privacy some data does get out. besides it was only a matter of time as sites like face book got bigger before the aclu would start sniffing around over how it handles priviacy .

and so royal pains ends its first season with hank being asked to treat a lady named amy who seems to have been bitten by bats which freaks evan out plus amy sister turns out to be a so called fortune teller. and as hank and evan wonder what they are going to do with diva having to finaly get engage to roger and having to leave.hank does not relise that evan has some how had some of the hank med funds gone in a bad deal a ponzi scheme and lies about it .keeps trying to keep it from hank. as jill still deals with trying to get rid of her ex  as hank figure out that it may not be bats bites that are making amy sick and even halicinate it turns out to be a reaciton to some medicine her sister has been giving her from the pain. one problem solved as diva finaly comes clean and says she and roger are not going to be engaged they are not lovers but just friends. as evan finaly comes clean to hank about losing the funds and hank lets it know he is royaly pissed for they can no doubt make back the lost funds but hank is more pissed over the trust he and evan have as brothers and co workers destroyed. which means next season things are not going to be so rosey between hank and evan and evan also ticks off diva by thinking hidisium  is linked to wica  diva sets him straight.  as royal pains done for the season . season two not till next spring and hank finds jill sleeping with charlie and jill throws charlie out . too bad she can get him to sign the papers so she and hank can finaly be together. and then hank learns that the money stolen was by their way ward dad yep daddy come a calling though fans have to wait till season two to see all hades break lose on royal pains

just when it looked like almost everything but metropolis was headed for remakes. and one of the few films not talked about being renade but most figure its only a matter of time is the cult classic wynona ryder christian slater film heathers. the one where a ousider girl gets revenge on the meanest popular school girls a group known as heathers. and now its finaly gotten the remake web hitting this time the plan is to remake it as a tv series. yes instead of a remake for the big screen the plans are now to remake heathers for the small screen as a series which considering the creators have been trying to do a sequal to heathers set twenty years later. this way looks like the creators will have to settle for a tv series. though no word on if any of the original cast members like Wynona or Christian could show up as their characters though given christians character died in the film. at close to the end.  and now its gotten on the remake radar as a tv series. should be interesting to see how the creators of the series come up with whacking the heathers.
