as expected congress will wind up missing the first deadline of fixing the u.s health care system. since the finicial committee was suppose to take up a the first blueprint of the health care bill and pass it with the idea then sending it to the house and then to the senate with a final version sent to the president by october to sign but as expected the deadline is not going to be met for one congress was not able to get the thing written yet due to key issues needed still to be wokred on like a private or public plan and should employeers be required to provide their workers insurance or help them through coops buy it themselfe plus the main issue of how to pay for it with more and more leaning towards taxing health benfits. but as expected the first deadline is not met which means the orginal time table is now off and the latest the president could have the bill to sign could wind up being an early xmas gift now as congress is on break for the fourth which was the first deadline for health care overhaul. as expected did not make it. and four weeks and watchman hits dvd including the directors cut. the version with the black freighter not till fall.. hopefully it does better in sales then the movie did in theatres.

the one big thing that had  had congress and the president finaly figure out something had to be done and also was a big part of the finicial meltdown that caused the recession . was that the big wigs on wallstreet wound up sending their business down the tubes while they kept collecting thier golden parchutes and paychecks which had the president say that he would cap the pay to prevent a repeat .  and make the big wigs more accoutbale by having their pay decieds by sthcokholders tied to performance. but exectuives can be happy as congress and the president have decided as they look to put some tighter finicial controls in place the cap on exec pay will not be part of any bill. congress dropped the idea and the president willl not push it its not even part of the treasuryes finical plans for controls. though no doubt the president will find some way to keep that vow. just not in a bill. which should make execs happy that no cap on their pay will wind up in any bill though no doubt one will happend some other way as soon as congress can figure out how.

since looks like the chance of hollywood getting off the remake wagon will not happend what with the remake of red dawn now filming and also plans for a remake of the infamous i spit on your grave. in the works. hollywood will not rest till it has remade every old classic . but at least one silver lining now is dimensions annouced plans to do a remake of an american werewolf in London using the latest special effects cgi tech nology has seemed to become stopped before even the script is written as turns out unverisal still owns the rights to the original version including for the dvd rights and also means for a sequal to happend they have the say and given how a remake could cause them to lose some of the revenue from the original on dvd not to mention most fans will proalby think of the new one more instead of the orignal. unviersal may wind up stopping the thing in its tracks before it happends. for normaly legal issues and rights disputes are a bad word since that reason being it keeps certain shows and movies fans want from being on dvd the big one being the batman tv series. but for once those rights issues may finaly stop one unessary remake from seeing the light of day even though given the advances of cgi and special effects. doing the werewolf look in american in london would be cool htough dimension has not given and are now looking at doing a new american werewolf film as a sequal or a series where the werewolf travels around the world. for if they can not do the remake then why not contiue the advetures provided unversial does not also have the rights to sequelas too. at least american werewolf in london  can join rosemarys baby safe from remakes. and so far metropolis.

not only did the u.s supreme court end their term today by ruling that the firefighters who were denied promotions because some of their colluges failed the exam tthat the firefighters were in the right but the case had been decided by nominie sotomoyor and has just given the republicans who are against sonya a new thing to quesiton her about . the ruling from the justices is that the city had no right to deny the promtions to the firefighrers who passed the test and that doing so mostly out of fear of lawsuits because some who failed were african american and hsipanic was wrong of the city for using discrimantion laws did not count in this case fo for the city was wrong. to deny those who earned the promotion by passing the test sotoymoyar ruleld agains the firefighters. plus that case was one of souters last and thus ends his term and rides off into history. plus for the next term the court decided not to reinsate victims of 911 right to file lawsuits agaisnt saudi arabaie saying that some of their funds to charites actully funded al quida along with a  lawsuit against two sauidi men. for the next term. as the court overturned a ruling in a case sotoymoyar decided and said goodbye to souter plus is decding already what will be heard next term in october when sonya may be on the bench of the highest court of the land.

and lady justice came through giving those whose lives were wrecked by Bernie Madoff schemes even as Madoff spoke and told his victims he was sorry for what he did and knows his actions were wrong. even putting his arm around the widow of one of his victims. but lady justice and the jduge was not even if Bernie finaly relized his actions were wrong . and also hoping to send a message to others like madoff that  lady justice is not going to tolerate that garbage. and even though to some victims it may be some closure its still only the tip of the bucket since most of madoffs victims belive there are others who were involved or profited from bernies scehemeing. but lady justice for the victims of Bernie came through and brought down her wrath and sentence bernie is now going to spend what to him is a  life sentence  as the judge gave his victims a little gift sentecing the guy who pulled off the biggest fraud in u.s history and maybe the start of restoring some of the trust in the system bernie destroyed 150 years.   the maximum wanted and asked for by the prosicutor and next may be that bernie has to start paying back his victims.  and ruth bernies wife may yet have to give up the two million she gets from his fortune. but justice has spoken bernie mandoff a hudnred and fifty year prison term. though no doubt bernies lawers are alreayd working on the appeals of the sentence but at least its some justice .for bernie got the max.

  making some more history and at least giving the president a partial victory since the  climate bill a landmark bill fate is up in the air in the senate espically given the strong opposition by republicans who are calling the thing a job killer  and would give consumers a new tax to pay a engery tax. as the bill passed on party lines mostly by dems  and only 7 republicans though even some dems are opposed for the bill saying it could hurt consumers in rural states and also does not go far enough for renewable energy . not to mention dems had to make some compromises to even get the thing passed like doing away wiht requiring companyes to buy pollution  carbon certificates and also makes agriculture and forest exempt from the  greenhouse gas reduction requirments. which the bill reqiures the us by a2017 to reduce under cap and trade greenhouse emisiosn so by at least 2050 the us is required to have cut greenhouse gaes out puts by at least 22 percent. though the thng may not happend as the bilsl fate int he senate has a hard road epsiclaly since the republicans can and are condiering a filibuster as an option. as the house gave the president a little victory on climate and energy policy passing narrowing the landmark climate bill. senate a hard road ahead.

  as the world still is mourning the loss of  Michel Jackson and the music industry sees the void of losing the king of pop.seems like in life in death michel still has one more controversay facing hs legacy as cops are on the search for the last doctor michel was seeing and who might have been with michel hours before his death. for cops want the doctor for questioning. to help them figure out what caused the cardiac arrest that killed him. to see if maybe even though the autopy would proalby find that out if the doctor gave michel anything hours before the cardic arrest. thoug no criminal charges will happend in michels death . plus the matter of who ever is the executor of michels estate for settling it is going to be a thrill ride given that michel had so much debt due to lawsuits and unpaid bilsl and had to keep borrowing from rich friends. for the executor will have to figure out what is there and how much money one to try and settle all the lawsuits that were going on up to michels death plus if there is anything for michels kids. and who takes care of them if michel should die since the mother debbie row of the first two of michels kids gave up her parental rights. plus michels only big asset is his music catalog of his songs and his share of the beetles music. so not onlyis michles doctor being watned by the cops but his executor is about to be on a thriller trying to settle michels estate. as even in death michel is stuck in some controversy just like in life.  proving the king of pop michel jackson was larger in life and now larger in deat. his legend will never fade.

the big question now that the governor of south carolina  mark sanford  revealed that he went awol so he could visit his mistress in argentina which had the state wonder how to operate for the six days. the big quesiton now is besides sanford now giving up his plans to run for president and resiging as the head of the republican natianila committe is will the state wind up impeaching sanford for having an affair and leaving the state to do so when he was suppose to do goverment business not to mention that he had to be ordreed by the state supreme court to take stimulus funds.  plus given that he revealed he has a mistress in another country  will his wife be adding divorce to the list of  what dammage mark did by doing the wild thing while married.  for after all the one thing politicians have wound up going down in flames is being caught with their pants down and no the governor of south carolina joins that club and will he soon be changing the title to ex governor and if so how soon. though if it does happend he can just go vanish back to argentina and his lovely mistress. for surely his wife will be adding ex to her name soon.as another politician gets caught with his pants down. but this time its the govenor of south carolina who wound up making a trip to another country to do so. and now looks like he will be looking for another line of work. which given how the republicans impeached former president bill clinton for not being able to keep his pants zipped then lying about it. its ironic that another one of hteir number is now caught doing the same thing . and will now have to pay some political fallout.
